My post I made last night was to try to clear my name after hearing about things being said, allegations being made, saying I copied someone else's idea. I was in a horrible place, I hate when people see me as something awful that I am not, and hearing the things said just set me off. I should not have mentioned their name in that post, but I did and a lot of people are harassing him. PLEASE STOP!!!

Yes what he said and accused me of was very messed up, it hurt me a lot. I do not think that I can every fully give PERFECT proof that I did not copy someone, but I did not. My plushie ita bag came to me, not from someone else or someone else's design. LittleSofts and some other few creators I have seen have made plushie backpacks and there's a slight inspiration aspect there, but the idea to make it an ita bag was my idea I had.

I spoke with the creator of Living Biohazard a lot and one of his good friends. We talked things out and I truly believe he believes me now and understands. He is not a bad person, actually quite opposite. I am very happy to say that I can call him my friend and everything is ok. He apologized for the accusations and things his followers were saying about me because of it. And I am sorry that I came on here and exposed this and his name to my friends and followers. 

As McMadmissle said themself, it's not unheard of for artists to come up with similar ideas at the same time (their wording was much cooler haha)

I had an incident 3 years ago where a creator filed claims against my Kitsune plushie campaign, saying it was copyright blah blah blah and she even took down my etsy listings. All over her kitsune plushie that looked absolutely NOTHING like mine. I had tried to reach out to that creator and never got anything. What that person did was truly awful and they are clearly not a nice artist who works well with, collabs with or uplifts other artists like the majority of us do.

Biohazard is a great person and despite us meeting and talking under not so happy circumstances, I am very happy with the outcome. 

I also wanna say that I love Backerkit! They created an amazing platform where artists work together, I have made a lot more artist friends through Backerkit and I 100% will not go back to Kickstarter. 

Drama and misunderstandings have been squashed. I fully support Living Biohazard and the adorable work that this creator does, and you guys should too.

Hey guys, so I want to address some things that have happened on some updates and try to bring this to peoples' attention and try to keep these things from happening again.

Last night, I had to reach out to Trust and Security of Backerkit to have comments removed and someone blocked from commenting, and this was the 3rd time I have had to do this in the past year. First time was when an opinion of a kind backer was taken out of context by others and essentially got out of hand. 2nd time was an angry backer upset for needing to pay a really high tax fee for their package and blaming me for it and accusing me of refusing to help. They took their frustrations to the comments on an update and bashed me.

And the 3rd one was a supporter of another artist who is making a similar product to mine here on. 

Ok, I just deleted a whole lot of text here about the situation, but before I posted it, I realized that who I thought was one person stirring up stuff and promoting this other artist's project a month ago was in fact 2 different people. So I had my husband join this artist's discord, and it looks like I am being accused of copying this artist's idea and they also seem to think I have the same manufacturer as them.

I did extensive research on ita bags and searched the internet and social medias for artists who have been making similar products, and I never found anything indication an artist or creator making something similar to what I came up with.

When Pintopia 2026 Pins Plushies Ita Bags was announced earlier last year, I thought "omg, plushie ita bag! that would be pretty cool!" So I went to work on designing. 

I can also guarantee that the accusation of me using their manufacturer in 100% impossible. Based on their past project goals, it looks like whatever manufacturer they use doesn't charge nearly as much as mine does. And when I presented my product plan of a plushie ita bag to my manufacturer, it was a new concept for them.

I first time I saw this creator's project is when it went live on Backerkit because I am always looking out for plushie projects. I have backed 50+ projects on Backerkit over the past year and I am all for supporting other artists. But when someone is saying lies and slander about me, I need to say something back.

There's been incidents in my 5 years of my small business where I thought something seemed very similar to what I have made and some instances where I was almost certain I was copied, but I do not go and make accusations or try to ruin their reputation.

So I went to this artist's socials and saw no recent posts or anything about their ita bag. Well that was when I first saw their campaign come up on Backerkit, but I just found out that they apparently blocked me on all of social medias so I "couldn't copy them anymore" (their words). 

I don't believe i need to go any further into saying how absolutely ridiculous that is. I am incredibly distraught and upset over this and I don't know what to do about it except tell my friends and followers and customers that these accusations are not true in the slightest. I try my best to be unique and creative, so when I thought of my ita back pack design, I was thrilled to see no one else with something similar. 

Sorry for the rant..... I am just very upset by the whole situation. 2025 was a hard year for me mentally. I struggled a lot and broke down and almost decided to quit my business over rude and irrational customers (recent incident actually) and it got to a point where my husband has taken over my business email and is taking it upon himself to take care of customer emails for me. In his field of work, he's constantly working with giant clients and is more than capable of being the customer support of my business while I work on my mental health and hopefully get through this post partum depression.

The comments section of my updates is not a place to attack people, make your complaints, attack me or promote other projects. It is also not a place to ask for help. If there's issues with your rewards or you have issues with your delivery or any other kinds of things, emailing my business email is best for one on one assistance.

I am so very thankful to the many wonderful and amazing supporters I have reached with my art and work that I do. I am so thankful to all of my friends I have made in the art community, so many incredibly talented artist and creators. I love you all, and I do love what I do and want to continue on. 

I should have a new update on samples in the next day or 2, so keep a lookout for that!
